Man Dressed In Black And Dark Colored Clothing Hit By Car - Authorities Say He Was Asking For It

Police say man who was struck by a car while crossing the street was not appropriately dressed for the evening. Wearing a black shirt under a blue button down with brown pants, defenders of the driver say the man was hard to see in the late hours as the car drove through a red light.

"He put himself in a dangerous position, cruising into the street while wearing such dark colors. He needs to be held responsible, the blame can't be shifted onto the driver just because the man regrets being hit by the car."

It's suggested that next time the man wear reflective clothing, picking colors such as neon green or bright orange, and that he stay on the sidewalk and off of the more dangerous crosswalks. The driver will face no charges while the man hit is in recovery at a local hospital.

"Hopefully the driver can leave this behind them and continue to drive unimpeded in life."
